I always used to stay away from white because I thought it would make me look like a fat, fluffy marshmallow. Well, damn it, I don’t care anymore. White is one of my favorite shades to wear as well as black and the in between of grey. I don’t match my shoes to my bag, I don’t match anything to any part. I wear what I want and hope that it looks like me.

I let my nerdiness show by getting this uber cute Sailor Moon purse. It comes in two colors black (Luna) and white (Artemis). I of course had to represent my girl Luna and get the Big Metal Moon purse. The interior fits your phone and maybe a tiny wallet and your keys. It’s not that roomy but I find myself using it a lot. The quality is pretty good and I always get compliments on it.
The tunic/dress from Free People is one of my summer favorites that I managed to get for a steal somehow (despite being full price on the website). I had gone to Free People downtown and found this dress in the sale section, marked down with an extra 25% off. The button on the back was missing and ripped off so I went to the register and asked if I could have another discount. They gave me another 10% off and making it final sale. I went home super happy with my $50 find.
What has been your favorite steal ever? Nothing will ever beat the time I got some black leather pumps from Banana Republic for $5 but this beat it because I love it and it’s super comfy.
This post comes a bit late when it is already September but technically it’s still summertime. What better way to enjoy it by wearing a very summer outfit for the last time? I’ll continue wearing dresses but this crop top/maxi combo screams summer to me.

Last time I posted, I wrote about Banana’s new campaign which featured pieces that were versatile and could easily be used for a variety of different scenarios whether it be going to an interview, heading to work, or going out with your friends.
Last month, I took a trip to California with my mom and my cousin (plus the munchkins) to enjoy the sunshine and oppressive heat. It was a pretty chill. We stayed at a family member’s home so we didn’t go much of anywhere.
Luckily, the last week I was there, my two friends also went to California. For the last 3 days, we hung out. Browsing on Facebook, I came across news talking about a Hello Kitty Cafe in California. I was flipping out. What!? Hello Kitty!? In Cali!? When!? Where!? It was an hour away from us so we decided to go ahead and head to Irvine. Read More →

Banana Republic’s new campaign Your Life. Styled. features contemporary and super versatile pieces that are perfect for any occasion or situation. I’ve always been a huge Banana Republic fan (it was my first job ever during my high school years) so when I was approached to try their new pieces, how could I say no?
It’s been a while since I posted. It’s just been hard to find the inspiration and the drive to write and upkeep with the blog. I don’t lead a particularly interesting life (I won’t lie–I’m pretty plain like everyone else). I don’t live the blogger life as I don’t gain any money from this or have a ginormous following.
With the job search pretty much zilch–thanks economy, I have lots of time to myself and my family now while working part time. For the past few days, I think this is the most social life I’ve had since high school.
My best guy friend came down from Florida and despite living so close to New York, he’d never been SO why not make an adventure out of it?
What’s better than a girl’s day out in the city? A little time out in Astoria was just what we needed. Michelle, Amy, and I headed to Mojave’s in Astoria, Queens for bottomless brunch. Endless mimosas? We are there. Read More →
Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is to get away. The best place I could think of is with my family out in Florida so I booked a ticket and jetted over. As the years have passed, I’ve gotten more and more aware of how time truly flies and to appreciate your family and those you love. Read More →
It seems like graduation was years ago but in reality it’s been less than a year. It’s been a really rough for me since then as well. I’ve always been average in my grades from the moment I was enrolled in the school system. Mostly As and Bs with the occasional C or D. I don’t remember a time where I didn’t work hard. In my four years of school, I had 10+ internships and ambassadorships with the hopes that it would make it simple for me to enter the fashion world. I was wrong.
