September is coming to a close rather quickly so I decided to blog about what have been my favorite things this month.
Too Faced Chocolate Soliel Medium-Deep Matte Bronzer: I received the small sample of this bronzer from Sephora a couple of months ago. When I first opened it, I was amazed by the smell of chocolate. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a chocolate fiend! It smells amazing and gets the job done! I like to contour with this bronzer as it doesn’t leave a shimmer and is the perfect matte for any day.
Tarte Slenderizer Bamboo Contour Brush: I use this brush everyday. The bristles are incredibly soft and I haven’t seen them shed once. I use the smaller side to put the bronzer on the sides of my nose and to swipe it on. I use the angled side to brush the bronzer out. It’s a great brush and I can’t seem to put it down.
Giorgio Armani Master Corrector in Orange: As a girl with really bad, dark circles I spend most of my time and money trying out and attempting to find the perfect corrector. This one was the winner. The formula is super light and brightens my eyes like no other corrector I’ve used. The orange is specifically for olive and tan skin tones.
Giorgia Armani Maestro Eraser: A lot of concealers tend to be thick and crease incredibly easily. I hate having to check my makeup every 30 minutes to make sure my face isn’t melting off onto the desk. This concealer is water-like, extremely light, and buildable. I dot it under my eyes with my fingers as I find it is the best when you use your fingers. I am left with much brighter eyes and I think I found my dark-circle fighting duo.
Essie Nail Polish in ‘Go Ginza’: Yes, yes..it’s fall. The time for dark hues, rich blues, and royal colors. Well, I am going to stick to whatever the hell I wanna use. I am in love with this sakura pink/purple polish. It’s the perfect neutral. I wore it on an interview and I think this is what helped me get the job! Haha, all joking aside, this is a really pretty color for all year round. Every time I look to my nails, I feel myself relax a bit.
Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel in ‘Cabaret’: This is the exclusive VIB Rouge lip color from Sephora. I absolutely adore the rich deep red. It is verging on the edge of being a plum-red. I think this particular red is perfect for the fall/winter and works for most skin types. This lipstick glides on and does not leave my lips feeling dry at all–which is usually how I feel after I wear certain lipsticks. There are only a few left, so grab them while you can! I might stock up on a few just in case!
