Hi guys! I feel like it’s been so long. 3 months is a long time without an update. I felt like I needed to step away for a little bit. Blogging was becoming more like a job. I, of course, want a bigger audience but not enough to make myself start hate blogging or feel it as a burden. It’s an expensive hobby with always needing to get new clothes or items to feature on Sartorial Spice. No, I do not get things for free or get gifted. Everything I have featured unless I have disclosed that it was given to me, was paid with by my own money.
Now, I feel like I have been wanting to buy this for a long time so I am really excited to share what I thought about it. <3
With Christmas season coming up, my wallet is begging for relief. It’s virtually starving but even so, I managed to talk myself to jumping the gun and nabbing a set of Wand Makeup brushes. You know, the ones that were being featured everywhere. My inner Potterhead could not let it pass by and put down a pre-order.
Lo and behold, the wands arrived even earlier than I thought and I love how they look and feel! I was reading the comments on Instagram and social media before the brushes had gone into production and many were commenting on how cheap they looked and all that. Well, I can tell you that they do not feel cheap at all. They feel heavy and the detail is amazing.
You get 5 eye brushes for $55 so it would be $11 a brush which I don’t think is a bad deal at all. I don’t mind that the wand is a different color from the metal that holds the bristles and it feels rather secure. The bristles are soft but I have yet to use them a ton. It gets the job done while making your inner geek squeal.
They are sold out but please do not buy the ones from Ebay that are selling for almost $4oo (NUTS!!). We can only hope they will restock!
