For my spring break, I headed to Miami and Orlando for a week to just get away from these frigid temperatures. My soul couldn’t take it anymore and begged for some sunshine and warmth.
The best two weeks of the year are in full swing–no not the Christmas Season. Restaurant Week. It’s a great way to feel like a classy bitch on a grad student budget (forever crying). I started my restaurant week with this snazzy place called Perry St. on no other but Perry St. in Manhattan.
On Wednesday, I headed down to Brooklyn with Susan for a week-long interactive exhibit called the Hall of Magic. By the time I post this, it will be the last day (the 29th) so I apologize that you will not be able to go in person but I wanted to share my time there anyways.
I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I’ve begun this blog. I have been neglectful of it as late but I am proud to have not given up and that I keep coming back to it. I have tons of ideas but unfortunately my pocket doesn’t seem to agree. I am not a huge blogger, I love to have people who read even though it’s not a big following. I only want to continue to write and create content.
That being said, I am thinking starting with a new year and another year older for my blog, I want to shift the focus more on lifestyle and just a mix in general. More beauty reviews, beauty products, and some ramblings here and there. I do not want to give up my fashion posts at all, but those will be here and there. I can’t afford to continue to buy new clothing to feature on my blog, I need to save up for the future haha.
I hope I can continue to do what I love here and have people enjoy it as well. Here is to another year! Happy Birthday, Sartorial Spice <3
A few weeks ago I had a much needed girls day out with my fellow fashion major friends. What better way to spend a Saturday than to stuff yourself full of dim sum? Conversation, food, and good friends is all you need. And ice cream. Always ice cream.
It’s been a while since I posted. It’s just been hard to find the inspiration and the drive to write and upkeep with the blog. I don’t lead a particularly interesting life (I won’t lie–I’m pretty plain like everyone else). I don’t live the blogger life as I don’t gain any money from this or have a ginormous following.
With the job search pretty much zilch–thanks economy, I have lots of time to myself and my family now while working part time. For the past few days, I think this is the most social life I’ve had since high school.
My best guy friend came down from Florida and despite living so close to New York, he’d never been SO why not make an adventure out of it?
What’s better than a girl’s day out in the city? A little time out in Astoria was just what we needed. Michelle, Amy, and I headed to Mojave’s in Astoria, Queens for bottomless brunch. Endless mimosas? We are there. Read More →
Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is to get away. The best place I could think of is with my family out in Florida so I booked a ticket and jetted over. As the years have passed, I’ve gotten more and more aware of how time truly flies and to appreciate your family and those you love.

4 years flew by so quickly that it’s difficult to comprehend that I no longer am a college student. That being said, I am free! I had to celebrate with a stroll by the Hudson River and the view of the city.
