My little heart hurts that I’ve pushed aside my blog postings. Between the dreadful winter and the lack of any time for myself has really made me neglect what I’ve already established and worked so hard for. As graduation grows nearer and my spring break quickly escapes my grasp, I realize that it’s time for me to buckle down on myself and commit more to my wonderful blog!
My days have been filled with group projects, snow days, colds, internships, and work. This blog serves as a great way to release my stress and have something to be immensely be proud of. That being said, I’ve been buying a LOT of purses so I will be sure to start styling and taking pics so look out for those style posts I miss doing so much!
Since I am stuck in Jersey/New York, I would love to hear from my lovely readers–What have you all been doing for spring break or planning to do!? I am in desperate need of Vitamin Sea!
Valentine’s Day..has met it’s match..Galentine’s Day! Who needs a man to make February 14th special? I wanted to make sure my best friend/soul mate/ sister, etc knew that I appreciated her. What better way to surprise her with a Galentine’s Gift?!
I’ve been MIA. Between finals and my new retail job at Anthropologie, I feel that time has escaped me. Along with escaping time, my birthday was last Friday. It’s surreal how fast the year flies. I’ve strengthened friendships, gained more knowledge, and I am a step closer to graduating university.
My journey as an Ann Taylor intern has come to an end. It had gone too fast but like it is always said, all good things must come to an end. This internship has reinforced my notion of what career I truly want to go into. I know for a fact I want to go into social media marketing; I mean, how is that not fun? Read More →
Sometimes, you stop and realize that time just flies by. Today, I stopped and stood in the hallway of ANN INC. My last day is Friday and I can’t believe how fast my internship has come to an end. This marks the end of my 10th internship and of an amazing journey. ANN INC is such a great company to intern for and I was given so many responsibilities that even I was surprised. Not only has my internship come to an end but soon my college years will too.
I’ve had plenty of interviews and many times I have never been called back. It hurts me every time. The sting doesn’t go away and it makes me feel like a bit of a failure. Rejection is just a part of life and something you are going to have to get used to. Sure, it sucks. Big time. But hopefully you can take a few things away from the experience and grow more from it. Here are 5 tips to handle rejection with grace.
My goodness. I can’t believe it’s Halloween. Where has the time gone!? As I get older, the less I like Halloween. I know, it’s really sad. Here are five reasons I am feeling a little like scrooge this Halloween.
I’m away on vacation! Let me just say that I am MELTING here in Miami. I’ve had no wifi in my families house so it’s been a bit difficult. It feels like I was given candy and then it was ripped away and stomped on! I’m at their friends’ house smooching off the free wifi and trying to get everything done while I can in this short time span.
In the meantime, be sure to check out my new Lilly Pulitzer giveaway! Right HERE! I will be picking a winner when I come back from my vacation.
I’m really getting tired of this weather between the snow, high winds, and temperatures that are now dipping under 10 degrees–not cool! What better way to relax on a frigid weekend then staying home and doing a DIY! This project was part of my project for my full-time internship. I was working on the Waverly brand. Waverly has many beautiful fabrics and I had the opportunity to pick from many fabrics and use them to my liking.
