A Little Time Out

IMG_5476

Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is to get away. The best place I could think of is with my family out in Florida so I booked a ticket and jetted over. As the years have passed, I’ve gotten more and more aware of how time truly flies and to appreciate your family and those you love.

It’s like I’ve been thrown into a state of limbo but there’s something exciting and I am actually in no hurry to apply to five million jobs. I took a little bit of much needed time off with my co-worker turned girl pal, Bridget. I wanted to treat her to a unique experience that she would remember even after she moved away.

We made our way to Bite Beauty Lab. If you don’t remember or haven’t been around, I went to Bite Beauty Lab last summer for a VIB Rouge event at Sephora. This experience was just as great.

IMATS NY 2015

Pier-94-IMATSLast Sunday, I made my way over the Hudson into one of my favorite cities–New York.  I made the trip with my gal pal BB to meet her friends and make our way over to Pier 94.

Sunday was general admission and we were excited to see what it had in store for us. This was my first time at the International Makeup Trade Show so I did not know what to expect.

Madison Avenue

Kate-Spade-MadisonThis past Sunday I was lucky enough to be given a VIP tour of Kate Spade’s flagship store on Madison Avenue. I always love going to that store when I am in the area but there’s something special about being given some fancy sparkling pink lemonade and resting in the VIP room. Needless to say, I felt like a Queen.
