In case you were all wondering if I fell off the face of the earth..you are approximately right. I was in my fantasy/dream come true…
One door closes but another opens. I am starting a new journey as a college graduate. It’s like I’ve been thrown into a state of limbo but there’s something exciting and I am actually in no hurry to apply to five million jobs. I am perfectly content with the small part-time jobs I have currently while I build up my resume.
4 years flew by so quickly that it’s difficult to comprehend that I no longer am a college student. That being said, I am free! I had to celebrate with a stroll by the Hudson River and the view of the city.
Apologies for not posting in a few weeks. I am only less than two weeks away from walking at my graduation so life has been hectic. I took a little bit of much needed time off with my co-worker turned girl pal, Bridget. I wanted to treat her to a unique experience that she would remember even after she moved away.
We made our way to Bite Beauty Lab. If you don’t remember or haven’t been around, I went to Bite Beauty Lab last summer for a VIB Rouge event at Sephora. This experience was just as great.
Sunday was general admission and we were excited to see what it had in store for us. This was my first time at the International Makeup Trade Show so I did not know what to expect.
This past Sunday I was lucky enough to be given a VIP tour of Kate Spade’s flagship store on Madison Avenue. I always love going to that store when I am in the area but there’s something special about being given some fancy sparkling pink lemonade and resting in the VIP room. Needless to say, I felt like a Queen.
My little heart hurts that I’ve pushed aside my blog postings. Between the dreadful winter and the lack of any time for myself has really made me neglect what I’ve already established and worked so hard for. As graduation grows nearer and my spring break quickly escapes my grasp, I realize that it’s time for me to buckle down on myself and commit more to my wonderful blog!
My days have been filled with group projects, snow days, colds, internships, and work. This blog serves as a great way to release my stress and have something to be immensely be proud of. That being said, I’ve been buying a LOT of purses so I will be sure to start styling and taking pics so look out for those style posts I miss doing so much!
Since I am stuck in Jersey/New York, I would love to hear from my lovely readers–What have you all been doing for spring break or planning to do!? I am in desperate need of Vitamin Sea!
