For my spring break, I headed to Miami and Orlando for a week to just get away from these frigid temperatures. My soul couldn’t take it anymore and begged for some sunshine and warmth.
I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since I’ve begun this blog. I have been neglectful of it as late but I am proud to have not given up and that I keep coming back to it. I have tons of ideas but unfortunately my pocket doesn’t seem to agree. I am not a huge blogger, I love to have people who read even though it’s not a big following. I only want to continue to write and create content.
That being said, I am thinking starting with a new year and another year older for my blog, I want to shift the focus more on lifestyle and just a mix in general. More beauty reviews, beauty products, and some ramblings here and there. I do not want to give up my fashion posts at all, but those will be here and there. I can’t afford to continue to buy new clothing to feature on my blog, I need to save up for the future haha.
I hope I can continue to do what I love here and have people enjoy it as well. Here is to another year! Happy Birthday, Sartorial Spice <3
This is where it all begins. You search and all the jobs that come up are for seasonal positions but you want to stay in a place longer to have that income secure. This is what you do.
2 years. I still cannot that I still have this blog and readers. It’s a blessing and I hope that I continue to grow. This blog has become a part of me that I do not want to get rid of any time soon.

I’ve been MIA. Between finals and my new retail job at Anthropologie, I feel that time has escaped me. Along with escaping time, my birthday was last Friday. It’s surreal how fast the year flies. I’ve strengthened friendships, gained more knowledge, and I am a step closer to graduating university.
My goodness. I can’t believe it’s Halloween. Where has the time gone!? As I get older, the less I like Halloween. I know, it’s really sad. Here are five reasons I am feeling a little like scrooge this Halloween.
I adore a good statement earring. Sure, statement necklaces are cool but sometimes you don’t want your neck area to look too busy. I don’t like heavy earrings but earrings don’t have to be huge or heavy to be considered statements. I’ve gathered 3 of my favorite statement earrings–including the one I am wearing!

Breezy weather calls for some light sweaters and a slight edge. I couldn’t help but going with a bold lip with this outfit, I felt fierce. With the mix of metallics (gold and silver) in this outfit, I really like how it came out. It really did look very..city and edgy. It’s something I’m going to keep experimenting with because I tend to worry about matching.
